Who We Are

Plus Football Camps was founded by Alexis Ahmed and Luís Briosa, two university friends who share a deep passion for football in its purest essence. Our journey began at the University of Coimbra, where we not only studied together but also crossed paths during one of the best periods of youth football at GR Vigor da Mocidade.
With years of experience working with young athletes, we are committed to helping each player reach their full potential within the team. We believe that football is more than just a game—it is a tool for personal growth, discipline, and development.
We share fundamental values that shape not only great athletes but also individuals of character. Winning is important to both of us, but we know that beyond today’s victories, what truly matters are the successes of tomorrow.

We met through the NF Academy camp in Bergen, where we worked together, and Luis helped me develop both as a player and as a person.

My time with Luis was amazing. His player management was top-class, and his ability to teach and encourage players to think for themselves was superb.

What stood out to me the most during the time Alexis was my coach was the way he treated everyone equally. In my opinion, that was something very positive because I was a kid who didn’t believe much in my own potential, but Coach always did—and in a truly great way.

I met Alexis through football, he was my coach for 4 years. During that time, he was not only a coach, but a mentor, a friend. Even after all these years we stay in touch and see each other whenever life allows us to. Alexis is a genuine and inspirational person, and I feel extremely lucky that our paths have crossed.

Training Locations

Lisbon

Home to two of Portugal’s most prestigious football academies, Sporting CP and Benfica, both renowned for developing world-class players. Athletes will have the opportunity to experience top-tier training environments and gain insights from some of the best coaching teams in European football.

Madeira

Follow in the footsteps of Cristiano Ronaldo by training in his home region. Participants will have the unique opportunity to visit his first club, CD Nacional, and even speak with some of the coaches who played a role in his early development.

Coimbra

A historic city known for its rich cultural heritage and strong sports tradition. Football plays a key role in Coimbra’s development, offering a vibrant training atmosphere in a setting that blends history with athletic excellence.
